Salman told Armaan to lose weight for a shirtless music video

Salman Khan told Armaan Malik to ‘lose weight’ for a shirtless music video, later said it was ‘just to scare’ him, reveals Farah Khan

Salman Khan told Armaan Malik to lose weight for a shirtless music video but later revealed it was just to scare him. Farah Khan and her chef Dilip visited Armaan and Aashna’s Mumbai home in a new vlog, featuring a friendly cook-off and nostalgic moments. Armaan credited Salman for his Bollywood debut, sharing his transformation story and collaboration with Ed Sheeran.

Farah Khan and her chef Dilip recently released a new vlog featuring their visit to the Mumbai home of singer Armaan Malik and fashion influencer Aashna Shroff. Before heading over, Dilip prepared a special junglee mutton casserole to share with the couple. During the vlog, Aashna announced a friendly cook-off between herself and Armaan, with dishes like Sindhi shakshuka and scrambled eggs on the menu. The video also includes Armaan sharing a nostalgic moment, crediting Salman Khan for giving both him and his brother, Amaal Malik, their first big break as teenagers in the movie ‘Jai Ho’.

Armaan Malik and Aashna Shroff’s relationship and family ties

Following a tour of their home, Armaan and Aashna opened up about their relationship and how they initially met online. Farah reminisced about collaborating on several songs with the singer’s father, Daboo Malik, and his uncle, Abu Malik. Armaan then shared his breakthrough moment, crediting Salman: “At the age of 16, I made a pop album and Salman bhai heard that. I had the craze to become India’s Justin Bieber,” he revealed.

Behind the scenes of Armaan Malik’s Bollywood debut

The singer further added, “Salman bhai said that I shouldn’t release this album because he wanted to use 1-2 songs for his film Jai Ho. That’s how our Bollywood debut happened. In one of the songs, he put me and Amaal in the beginning of the video. He said that we will be shirtless but I told him that this wouldn’t be possible, we both are healthy kids. He put me on a rigorous dance and workout schedule, I lost 10-15 kgs. I was looking my leanest. But later, he said that it was a joke, yeh tujhe daraane ke liye tha, and I don’t have to be shirtless.”

The cooking challenge and Ed Sheeran collaboration

Next, they made their way to the kitchen to whip up their signature egg dishes. Armaan shared the story behind his collaboration with British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran on the track “2 Step.” As the vlog came to a close, Farah presented the couple with some gifts. Farah enjoyed both egg preparations for breakfast, while Dilip and their cook Sheetal shared a meal together. Go to Source
