Ayushamann Khurrana’s Thamma directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and co-starring Rashmika Mandanna, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Paresh Rawal continues its steady run at the box office after crossing Rs 100 crore mark in the first week itself. The film on Tuesday witnessed a 33 % jump in its collection to mint Rs 2 crore thereby taking the film’s collection to Rs 123.80 crore Thamma which released on the occasion of Diwali went on to mint Rs 108.4 crore in its extended 10 day week. On its second Friday it added Rs 3 crore to its kitty which was in tune with its Thursday collection of Rs 3.4 crore. The film on Saturday witnessed a good jump to earn Rs 4.4 crore and on Sunday the collection stayed steady at Rs 4.5 crore. But on Monday the film witnessed a major drop of over 66 % as it collected just Rs 1.5 crore. And on Tuesday thanks to the discounts which cinemas offer to track more audience- the film witnessed a good spike of 33 % and thus minted Rs 2 crore. With that the total collection of the film reached Rs 123.80 crore.
In fact Thamma witnessed the second highest collection for all the films running in theaters on Tuesday be it Baahubali- The Epic with Rs 1.5 crore, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat with Rs 1.65 crore and Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1- Rs 1.42 crore, Mass Jathara – Rs 84 lakh. The top earner of Tuesday was Pranav Mohanlal’s Dies Irae as it collected Rs 2.5 crore. Ayushmann is gearing up for the best year of his career in terms of number of releases in 2026 as there are three big films lined up for him. His first would be Mudassar Aziz’s Pati Patni Aur Woh 2 with Rakul Preet Singh, Sara Ali Khan and Wamiqa Gabbi , next would be the co-production between Karan Johar and Gunnet Monga with Sara Ali Khan and third being Sooraj Barjatya’s next where he would be taking ahead the mantle of Prem with Sharvari.
