Khushbu’s emotional speech leaves daughter Ananthitha Sundar in tears

Khushbu’s emotional speech leaves daughter Ananthitha Sundar in tears at ‘Double Occupancy’ audio launch

Veteran actress Khushbu turned emotional while speaking at the audio launch event of ‘Double Occupancy,’ a film creatively produced by her daughter Ananthitha Sundar. The movie is directed by Ashwin Kandasamy and features Santhosh in the lead role, along with Reshma, VTV Ganesh, and Samyuktha in important roles. The event became special after Khushbu shared heartfelt memories about her daughter and actor Santhosh, leaving many emotional on stage.

Khushbu opens up about Ananthitha and Santhosh’s close bond

Speaking at the event, Khushbu said Santhosh has been like a son to their family for many years. As reported by News 18, she revealed that both Santhosh and Ananthitha have known each other since childhood. “When they were young, they used to fight like enemies. Later, they became best friends,” she said with a smile. Khushbu also shared that when Ananthitha left for London to study, the family felt she would not even stay there for six months because she was too attached to Santhosh. However, she stayed focused on her studies while continuing to discuss stories and cinema with him.

Khushbu says Ananthitha was firm about launching Santhosh as the hero

Khushbu further revealed that after returning from London, Ananthitha told the family that she wanted to produce a film with Santhosh as the hero. “Even if Santhosh sneezes, Ananthitha will get worried and cry. I sometimes feel they must have been twins in their previous birth,” Khushbu said emotionally. She added that her daughter was completely sure that Santhosh should play the lead role in ‘Double Occupancy.’ The actress also said Santhosh had always dreamed of becoming an actor and expressed confidence that he would grow into a big star in the future.

Ananthitha Sundar breaks down during Khushbu’s emotional speech

As Khushbu continued speaking proudly about her daughter and Santhosh, Ananthitha Sundar became emotional on stage and was seen wiping tears from her eyes. The touching scene didn’t take long to get people’s attention on the internet, as they loved the strong bond the family shared. Ananthitha, who had earlier worked on Mani Ratnam’s ‘Ponniyin Selvan,’ is now stepping into a bigger role in cinema as a creative producer. Fans are now eager to see how ‘Double Occupancy’ shapes up and marks a new beginning for her career in the film industry.
