Shah Rukh Khan shares health update after a concerned fan inquires about his shoulder; says, 'It's healing'

With a career spanning over decades, the roles that redefined Indian cinema, Shah Rukh Khan is one of the most popular and beloved Bollywood actors across the globe. Recently, his dedication to the craft and his stellar performance received the much-deserved recognition, as the actor bagged his first-ever National Award. Following the announcement of the big win, Shah Rukh took to his social media handle to share a video expressing his gratitude. Though he shared a heartwarming speech, the attention of his fans was focused on the sling on his arm, which was a result of his recent injury. Worried fans hoped for SRK’s speedy recovery. Thereafter, on Saturday, in a #ASKSRK session, King Khan was asked about his health, and the actor gave a positive as well as sweet update.

King Khan says, ‘it’s healing’

“How is your shoulder, sir? #AskSRK”, posted a fan on X (formerly Twitter). Replying to the fan in his signature style, Shah Rukh wrote – “Bearing the weight of stardom quite effectively…. ha ha. It’s healing my friend, thank u so much for asking.” This is the first time the actor has given an update about his health post the National Award video.

With back-to-back action thrillers, Shah Rukh Khan has left his fans wanting more. Thus, it didn’t come as a surprise when, in the same session, a fan asked him about his next release. Replying to his admirer, SRK replied, “Did some good shoot… starting soon again. Only leg shots then move to upper body… Insha Allah will be done fast. @justSidAnand is working hard to finish.”

About ‘King’

‘King’ features Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role as a skilled assassin entrenched in the criminal underbelly. His daughter, Suhana, will portray his student in the movie. This is the first time the real-life father and daughter duo will be seen together on the big screen. The film also marks Suhana’s silver screen debut post her first OTT project, ‘The Archies.’ Further, reportedly, both SRK and Suhana went through intense training for their respective parts. Fans simply can’t wait to catch Khan and his princess in action!
