The month-long protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar came to an end after the government accepted the key demands of CJP and protesting students, including the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Following the announcement, protesters celebrated the outcome and dispersed from the site, while Delhi Police personnel deployed during the agitation also withdrew. Soon after the protest ended, the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) launched an extensive clean-up operation that continued late into the night. The protest stage was dismantled, barricades welded in place during the demonstrations were removed, and accumulated garbage, banners, posters, and slogans painted on walls were cleared. NDMC Chairman Kuljeet Chahal and senior officials supervised the restoration work. Traffic restrictions around Parliament Street and Jantar Mantar, imposed after clashes and stone-pelting during the protests, were also lifted. Multi-layer security barricades were dismantled, allowing normal traffic movement to resume. With roads reopened and the protest site restored, the area gradually returned to normal after more than a month of demonstrations that had significantly disrupted movement in central Delhi.
