SRK, Salman or Aamir? Anurag picks most popular Khan

Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan or Aamir Khan? Anurag Kashyap reveals who is the most popular Khan in Bollywood

Bollywood has many superstars, but only a few names truly define its the tag of ‘stars’. Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan, for decades, the three Khans have ruled hearts, box offices, and conversations about who stands at the top. Recently, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap was asked the ultimate question, which Khan is the most popular? And without hesitation, he gave his honest answer, sparking a fresh round of debate among fans.

Anurag Kashyap reveals who tops the popularity list

During a chat with Komal Nahta, when asked to rank the three Khans, Anurag confidently said, “Lokpriya toh Shah Rukh hi he, Salman he phir Aamir he. Sabse mehnati aur shrewd Aamir he.” (Shah Rukh is the most popular, then Salman and then Aamir. Aamir is the most hardworking and shrewd). With this statement, Anurag placed Shah Rukh at the top when it comes to mass popularity, followed by Salman and then Aamir. But he also pointed out that Aamir’s sharp mind and hardworking nature make him stand out in his own way.

Anurag Kashyap’s connection with the three Khans

Interestingly, Anurag has not collaborated with any of the three Khans so far. However, his brother, Abhinav Kashyap, directed Salman in the blockbuster ‘Dabangg’. After the film’s success, things turned sour between Abhinav and Salman, and the two have not worked together since.Anurag and Shah Rukh, on the other hand, shared screen space in Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Luck by Chance’, where both made cameo appearances.
