Sanjay Dutt visits cancer hospital for Silver Jubilee event

On Monday, Sanjay Dutt paid a visit at Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital in Hyderabad to attend the institution’s Silver Jubilee Celebration. The Bollywood actor, who has appeared in movies like ‘KGF 2’ and ‘The Raja Saab’, was the chief guest for the event that marked the 25 years of the hospital.During the celebration hospital Chairman and prominent actor Nandamuri Balakrishna felicitated Sanjay Dutt by draping a shawl and presenting him with a memento in recognition of his presence at the significant occasion. Nara Brahmani, Balakrishna’s daughter and a trustee of the hospital, also participated in the programme, welcoming the visiting actor alongside her father.

Nara Brahmani shared photographs from the event on social media and expressed her family’s gratitude for the actor’s presence and his demonstrated interest in the hospital’s cancer care mission. “Heartfelt thanks to Sanjay Dutt garu for visiting Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital today. It was a pleasure to welcome you along with my father Nandamuri Balakrishna. We greatly appreciate your interest in the hospital’s goals and services. Your visit has further strengthened our mission to provide hope, healing and quality cancer treatment to those in need” she wrote on Instagram.She further elaborated in another statement: “Thank you, Mr. Sanjay Dutt ji, for visiting Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital today. It was wonderful to receive you alongside my father, Shri Nandamuri Balakrishna. We sincerely appreciate your thoughtful interest in the hospital’s work and its enduring mission of bringing hope, healing and quality cancer care to those who need it most.”

As per Deccan Chronicle, Sanjay Dutt a cancer survivor who successfully battled the disease in his personal life showed keen interest in the hospital’s services and advanced treatment methods during his visit. The actor enquired about patient care facilities and spent time interacting with patients at the institution demonstrating his commitment to understanding the hospital’s comprehensive approach to cancer treatment.The mission of the hospital had a real-life context, as Dutt personally had experienced the survival from cancer. He commended the hospital’s contribution to the battle against cancer, and thanked the staff members for the quality of care and cutting-edge medical technologies they are using at the hospital.
