Oprah later showed a video of the crowd outside Abhishek and Aishwarya’s wedding and asked about the grandeur of Indian weddings. Abhishek explained that they’re usually long because Indians love to celebrate. Oprah then joked that it must be difficult to get a divorce after such an elaborate wedding, to which Aishwarya immediately replied, “We don’t even try and entertain that thought.”Oprah also brought up the Indian tradition of living with one’s parents after marriage, asking, “So you’re both living with your (Abhishek’s) parents? How does that work?” Abhishek responded playfully by asking her, “Do you live with your parents?” When Oprah said no, he smiled and replied, “How does that work?”
