The US State Department announced that it is suspending the issuance of all visitor visas for individuals from Gaza while it conducts a review of its procedures. In a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter), the US State Department said the pause will allow for “a full and thorough review of the process and procedures used to issue a small number of temporary medical-humanitarian visas in recent days.”
