List Of Rohit Sharma’s Records In India vs Australia ODIs

Indian batting maestro Rohit Sharma returned to top form in the final ODI of the three-match series in Sydney on Sunday.

He notched his 50th international century while guiding India to a successful chase of 237 against Australia, becoming only the 10th player in cricket history to achieve this milestone.

Rohit Sharma remained unbeaten on 121 runs off 125 balls, smashing 13 fours and a six at a strike rate of 96.80, showcasing his class and experience on the big stage.

With 11,370 runs in 276 ODIs, Rohit Sharma surpassed former captain Sourav Ganguly (11,363) to become India’s ninth-highest ODI run-scorer, compiling 33 centuries, 59 fifties, and a highest score of 264 at an average of 49.22.

In IND vs AUS ODI series, Rohit scored 202 runs at an average of 101.00 and a strike rate of 85.59, including a century and a fifty, earning both the Player of the Match and Player of the Series awards.

Rohit Sharma has joined an elite group of Indian cricketers, alongside Sachin Tendulkar (100 centuries) and Virat Kohli (82 centuries), as the only Indians to reach 50 international hundreds. This landmark also marked his 33rd ODI century.

Rohit Sharma also broke Virat Kohli’s record in Australia, scoring his sixth century in 33 innings as a visiting batter, the most by any player, and equalled Tendulkar with nine ODI centuries against Australia, the most by an Indian.

In 11 ODIs this year, Rohit has accumulated 504 runs at an average of 50.40 and a strike rate of 97.86, with two centuries, two fifties, and a highest score of 121*. Across formats, he has 12 Test centuries, 33 ODI hundreds, and 5 T20I hundreds, making him the only batter with five or more centuries in all three formats.

Fans won’t have to wait long to see Virat and Rohit back in action. South Africa is set to tour India next month, beginning with a two-match Test series, followed by three ODIs and five T20Is.

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are set to make their return in the ODI series starting November 30 at the JSCA International Stadium in Ranchi, promising an exciting reunion for cricket enthusiasts.
