'We’ve are fiercely protective...': Riddhima Kapoor Sahni says losing dad Rishi Kapoor has brought her and Ranbir Kapoor closer

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni shared insights into her bond with brother Ranbir Kapoor. She revealed that losing their father, Rishi Kapoor, brought them even closer. Riddhima described Ranbir as her biggest cheerleader and a pillar of strength for their family. He is always there for her and their mother, offering honest advice and support.

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni recently opened up about her bond with brother Ranbir Kapoor on the occasion of Bhai Dooj. She also revealed that their father’s demise brought them closer.

Riddhima on bond with Ranbir

In conversation with Hindustan Times, Riddhima shared, “Ranbir and I have always had a very normal sibling relationship despite growing up in a famous family. At home, we were just like any other brother and sister teasing, fighting, covering up for each other sometimes- off course, there were times we’d keep little secrets from our parents but nothing major. We’ve always been fiercely protective of each other, and that’s never changed.”

Losing Rishi Kapoor brought them closer

Elaborating further, she added, “Losing Papa brought us even closer. Our bond has always been strong, but now it’s deeper.” Riddhima, the caring sister she is, calls Ranbir “her biggest cheerleader” for always giving her honest advice.

Ranbir as the supportive brother

In an earlier conversation with India Today, Riddhima called Ranbir the “best” brother. She added that whenever she needs any advice, the actor is always there for her. The businesswoman-turned-actress went on to share that when she was shooting for a movie recently, she would ask him, “Does this look okay? Should I change something?” Riddhima stated that Ranbir would always reply with “kindness.”

The pillar of the family

The ‘Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives’ star went on to call the ‘Brahmastra’ actor the man of the house. She said, “He’s a pillar in the family now. He’s there for me, for our mother; he’s just always around, always dependable.”Riddhima didn’t stop there, as she stated that RK is a “great son,” an “amazing brother,” “a hands-on dad,” and not to forget, “a wonderful husband.” She said, “Above all, he’s a great human being.”
