ETimes praises Akhil Akkineni’s performance

Apart from its box office performance, Lenin has also received positive responses for Akhil Akkineni’s performance. The ETimes review stated, “Returning after a three-year gap, Akhil Akkineni settles comfortably into his first full-fledged rural role. He underplays the character for much of the film before delivering his strongest performance in the emotionally charged climax. Bhagyashri Borse is convincing as free-spirited Bharathi, while the supporting cast lends credibility to the story. Sivaji, despite an effective screen presence, feels somewhat underused.”Directed by Murali Kishor Abburu, Lenin features Akhil Akkineni and Bhagyashri Borse in the lead roles, with music composed by Thaman S.DISCLAIMER: The box office numbers and the data in this article are compiled from public and industry sources.
