New Delhi: Nissan Motor India on Thursday said it has announced the expansion of its CNG retrofitment programme to include the New Nissan Magnite BR10 EZ-Shift (AMT), following strong customer demand for the earlier manual transmission variant. The initiative provides a factory-approved, high-quality CNG conversion option, combining Nissan’s trusted performance with cost-efficient fuel solutions.

The company in its statement said it has also introduced a re-engineered fuelling system, relocating the CNG filling valve to the existing fuel-lid from the engine compartment. This enhancement aims to improve ergonomics, speed up refuelling, and offer greater convenience for daily users. Retrofits come with a 3-year or 1 lakh km warranty, ensuring reliability and peace of mind.

The CNG retrofit kit is priced at ₹71,999, effective from 22 September 2025 at all authorised Nissan retrofit centres, following the GST reduction from 28 per cent to 18 per cent. The price remains unchanged despite the upgraded fuelling system.

Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, said, “We are delighted to expand the retrofit programme to the New Nissan Magnite BR10 EZ-Shift. The upgraded fuel-lid integration and revised kit price enhance convenience and value for our customers. This initiative reflects our focus on practical, affordable, and customer-centric mobility solutions”.

The Nissan CNG retrofit programme is currently available in 13 states, including Delhi-NCR, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, and others, covering both manual and AMT 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol variants.

The government-approved kits are developed by Motozen Fuel Systems and installed at authorised centres, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
