A man sustained serious injuries after being stabbed in the neck and chest during a violent clash between two groups at Seethamgoli in Kasaragod late on Saturday night.
According to Kumbla police, the victim, identified as Anil Kumar (36), a resident of Badiadka, was attacked around 11 pm by a gang of 14 men. Kumar was rushed to the hospital with the knife still lodged in his neck, police said.

As reported by The Times of India, police have arrested four people in connection with the attack and seized two vehicles used by the gang. The accused have been booked under various provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), including sections 189(2), 191(2), 191(3), 126(2), 118(1), 109(1), and 190.
The FIR further states that the attackers held a grudge against Kumar over an earlier case registered against them at the Badiadka police station. Kumar, who sustained multiple stab injuries, is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Mangaluru, and his condition is said to be stable.
