The internet may still be debating who Orry really is, but Farah Khan’s recent YouTube tour of his Mumbai home offers some clues. Known for his playful self-awareness and over-the-top charm, Orhan Awatramani, better known as Orry, lives in a space that mirrors his personality: bold, eccentric, and unapologetically unique.

His residence, part of a family-owned building, features a striking black-and-white aesthetic – think white marble floors, pristine walls, and understated yet polished decor. “This is my family house. The whole building belongs to us,” he tells Farah with casual modesty.

A Closet That Changes with the Season

The home’s most intriguing space might be Orry’s wardrobe – a neatly organised display of fashion excess. He arranges his clothes by season, admitting that while the closet looks immaculate, it rarely stays that way. “I mess it up every day,” he confesses. “But my help, Jannat, fixes it before I return.” Jannat, he adds, has been with him long before fame found him in 2023.

Among the many gifts he’s received – clothes, accessories, even jewellery – one piece stands out: a six-kilo silver jacket. “It’s cute but gives me body ache,” he laughs, calling it a one-time outfit.

Objects of Obsession

In the living room, Farah stumbles upon a table piled high with phone cases. “When I wake up, I choose a case for the day. This is just one station. I have many more.” He even jokes that he sends used ones to Uorfi Javed for her DIY creations.

Orry’s house also holds a strict rule about memories – no photo frames, except in one corner. “We believe memories fade. Even good ones make you sad,” he explains.

Family, Fame, and a Hint of Mystery

While Orry shares the home with his family, his brothers live in the United States, and the Awatramanis take turns occupying the house. He even swapped his parents’ side of the home for his own.

Among his photo collection are pictures with Bollywood and global icons, including Kareena Kapoor and Kylie Jenner. But not everyone makes the cut: “I don’t take pictures with my friends’ parents,” he insists, before adding mischievously, “except Boney Kapoor – he’s my direct friend.”
