'Positive power...': Nafisa Ali rocks a bald look as she resumes chemotherapy amid stage 4 cancer treatment

Veteran actress Nafisa Ali shared a bald photo during her cancer treatment. She revealed her peritoneal cancer diagnosis from November 2018. Doctors decided surgery was not an option. She resumed chemotherapy. Fans and celebrities offered support. Nafisa Ali maintained a positive outlook. She also shared a message for her children. Her health journey continues.

Nafisa Ali shared a photo of herself bald during her cancer treatment. In September 2025, she revealed that she was diagnosed with peritoneal cancer in November 2018. She also said she has resumed chemotherapy after her doctors decided that surgery was not an option.

Smiling through adversity

Taking to her Instagram account, Nafisa shared a photo in which she is seen smiling at the camera. She captioned it, ‘Positive power.’Check out the post here:

As soon as she shared the post, likes and comments poured in from all sides. Dia Mirza took to the comment section and dropped red heart emoji. While one user wrote, ‘Looking very cute!!! 😍 time to be a baby and be pampered like one!! Take care Ma’am sending love and healing’, another one added, ‘More power to you 🙌 and wishing you a speedy recovery’.

A message for her children

On September 16, the veteran actress had shared, “One day my children asked, ‘Who will we turn to when you’re gone?’ I told them, ‘Turn to each other. That is my greatest gift -siblings who share the same love and memories. Protect one another, and remember: your bond is stronger than anything life can bring.”Her caption read, “A new chapter in my journey from today. I had my PET scan yesterday … so back to chemotherapy as surgery is not possible. Believe me I love life.”

Health updates and past challenges

Nafisa’s Instagram post shared few details about her condition, but her Facebook post included a scan and an article on stage 4 cancer, suggesting her cancer may have progressed. She hasn’t shared more about her health. In 2020, she revealed she was diagnosed with leucoderma after noticing white patches on her skin during chemotherapy.
