Ahaan Panday and Mohit Suri celebrate Saiyaara’s success: Director-actor duo visit Shilong to relive the moment where the ‘journey started’

When Mohit Suri’s ‘Saiyaara’ with two new faces, Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, made it to the theatres, nobody expected it to turn into such a huge blockbuster. There wasn’t much buzz about the film ahead of its release, but when it made it to the theatres in July, it took everyone by surprise. And now that the movie has made and broken several box office records, filmmaker Mohit Suri and lead star Ahaan Panday paid a visit to the place where it all started! They went to The Evening Club in Shillong to complete the circle. And the pictures from their visit are getting all the love from the internet.

Taking to his social media handle, Mohit Suri has shared a series of pictures featuring him and Ahaan outside The Evening Club in Shillong. One of the pictures of Ahan he shared on his social media story, and with it, the filmmaker wrote, “From Krish K to Ahaan Pandey! Journey started here, and we made it back to celebrate your success.”

In another post, which he shared on his feed, the filmmaker added some more sweet words. He penned, “From seeing you nervously and foolishly perform on stage, referencing your character ‘Krish k” to seeing you getting mobbed here today as a star, “Ahaan Pandey” ! So proud of you @ahaanpandayy . Thank you @eveningclubshillong and Jeff for making this possible .. as promised we all came here to share the success of #saiyaara.” Reacting to the post, Mohit’s wife, Uditaa Goswami, tagged Aneet Padda and wrote, “You were missed a lot!” On the same hand, Deanne Panday, Ahaan’s mother, wrote – “all heart always forever & ever.”

Ahaan Panday signs his next after ‘Saiyaara’

After his debut movie ‘Saiyaara,’ Ahaan has signed his second movie, according to a Pinkvilla report. He has joined hands with Aditya Chopra for an action romance drama. Ali Abbas Zafar will be directing the movie. Reportedly, Aditya feels a fresh face would bring an element of surprise, and especially after the success of ‘Saiyaara’, the audience will be more than excited to check out Ahaan’s next film.
