PM Modi Taunts Pak

Referring to the match as “Operation Sindoor on the games field,” PM Modi highlighted the victorious outcome.

“Operation Sindoor on the games field. Outcome is the same – India wins! Congrats to our cricketers,” he tweeted on X following India’s five-wicket triumph over Pakistan.

President Droupadi Murmu also took to X to congratulate team India on their victory.

Tilak Verma: The Hero

Tilak Varma starred in India’s thrilling Asia Cup 2025 final win over Pakistan, playing the best innings of his career to guide his team to victory on Sunday.

His unbeaten 69 helped India chase down Pakistan’s total of 147, securing a five-wicket win and India’s second T20 Asia Cup title.

After bowling out Pakistan for 146, India recovered from an early slump of 20 for three in the first five overs.

Tilak’s composed innings, along with key contributions from Shivam Dube (33 off 22) and Sanju Samson (24), powered India’s chase.

A crucial 60-run partnership between Tilak and Dube steadied the innings.

Needing 10 runs in the final over, Tilak hit Haris Rauf into mid-wicket, and Rinku Singh sealed the win with a boundary, sending Indian fans into celebration.

India reached the target with two balls to spare, completing a memorable and hard-fought victory.
