‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor is all set to release on October 2. Ahead of its festive release, the romantic comedy has already created a buzz, and now, as per the latest reports, it has been cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).Directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar, the film also features Rohit Saraf and Sanya Malhotra, promising a fun-packed family entertainer just in time for the Gandhi Jayanti and Dussehra holidays.

The report reveals, “Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is a fast-paced entertainer with a crisp run time of 2 hours and 15 minutes, which includes the start credit roll out and end credits song too (Perfect). The makers have tactfully packaged comedy with music and drama in a crisp run.”The runtime is similar to previous Varun Dhawan–Shashank Khaitan collaborations. ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ ran for 2 hours 13 minutes, while ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ had a 2-hour 19-minute runtime. Both films received a U/A certificate, and ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ continues the tradition of compact, family-friendly rom-coms.

What is the plot of ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’

The film follows Sunny (Varun Dhawan) and Tulsi (Janhvi Kapoor) as they embark on a playful journey to win back their former partners, played by Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf. To make their exes jealous, Sunny and Tulsi pretend to be a couple, setting the stage for funny and dramatic moments.
