Prakruti Mishra, who served on the 71st National Film Awards jury, couldn’t keep her excitement to herself as Shah Rukh Khan finally bagged his first National Award. In a heartfelt Instagram post, she reminisced about the special moment of being on the panel that honoured the superstar and shared a funny memory of a handshake she’ll never forget.Prakruti shared an emotional Instagram post about the experience. She posted photos from the event, including one with Shah Rukh and jury head Ashutosh Gowariker, and spoke about her journey on the selection committee.Check out the post here: “When I was selected to be a part of the central jury panel for National Film Awards, I didn’t know that I would be a part of the team of 11 who would be responsible for @iamsrk Sir to get his much-deserved and long-awaited first-ever national award. It was an honour to have been in the panel and fight for what you deserved many years ago.”Meanwhile, on the work front, Shah Rukh is set to return to Poland, where he is filming Siddharth Anand’s upcoming action film King. The project also stars his daughter Suhana Khan, along with Deepika Padukone, Arshad Warsi, Jaideep Ahlawat, Abhay Verma, Jackie Shroff, Rani Mukerji, and Anil Kapoor. The film is scheduled for a 2027 release.
