Breaking: Bihar Liquor Seizure, Child Molestation, Ranikhet Leopard, Uttarakhand Floods And Ecuador Protests

Bihar continues to battle illegal liquor despite a long-standing ban, as police in Nawada seized 186 liters of foreign liquor from smugglers, preventing it from reaching its destination. In Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, a seven-year-old girl was molested by a fruit vendor, Naushad, whose actions were captured on CCTV. Local residents later caught and handed him to police, highlighting concerns over child safety.

Meanwhile, Uttarakhand witnessed alarming wildlife and natural incidents. In Ranikhet, a leopard entered a house at night, climbing stairs and wandering inside, as recorded by CCTV, leaving residents shaken. Heavy rains near Ocean Park caused floodwaters to breach a hotel, sweeping through the lobby and creating panic among guests.

Internationally, Ecuador erupted in violent protests after the government abruptly scrapped diesel subsidies, causing fuel prices to skyrocket. Thousands of demonstrators clashed with police across the country, expressing outrage over the sudden hike and the economic impact on citizens.

These incidents collectively showcase ongoing challenges in public safety, law enforcement, environmental hazards, and global economic unrest, emphasizing the need for vigilance and effective governance both locally and internationally.
