‘Maa Inti Bangaaram’ box office collection day 9: Samantha Ruth Prabhu film jumps 12.6%; Worldwide total reaches Rs 71.57 crore

Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s latest release ‘Maa Inti Bangaaram’ continued its strong second-week run at the box office by registering impressive growth on its second Saturday. According to S cnilkestimates, the film earned Rs 4.90 crore net in India on Day 9. This marks a 12.6 percent increase compared to its Day 8 collection of Rs 4.35 crore net. The film’s total India net collection has climbed to Rs 42.95 crore.The Day 9 earnings came from approximately 2,211 shows across the country. The strong performance also pushed the film’s India gross collection to Rs 49.72 crore.

Strong overseas performance

The Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer continued to attract audiences overseas as well. On its ninth day, the film reportedly collected Rs 1.25 crore from international markets.As a result, the movie’s total overseas gross has now reached Rs 21.85 crore. ‘Maa Inti Bangaaram’ has minted a worldwide gross collection of Rs 71.57 crore so far.

Occupancy sees weekend boost

On Saturday, overall occupancy stood at 42.94 percent, with night shows leading the way at 46.85 percent. Afternoon and evening shows also maintained healthy attendance levels.The Tamil version reported an overall occupancy of 39.07 percent. Evening and night screenings performed particularly well. The Telugu-language version remained the film’s biggest contributor on Day 9, accounting for Rs 4.65 crore of the total India net collection. The Tamil version added Rs 25 lakhs.Andhra Pradesh and Telangana emerged as the strongest markets by contributing Rs 4.08 crore gross on Saturday alone. Karnataka followed with Rs 1.10 crore, while Tamil Nadu generated Rs 45 lakhs.

Directed by filmmaker B. V. Nandini Reddy, ‘Maa Inti Bangaaram’ blends action, comedy, and family drama.
