According to reports, Verma suddenly lost his temper during the meeting with BSA Akhilesh Pratap Singh. He first slammed a file on the officer’s desk before pulling out his belt. The CCTV footage, shared on X (formerly Twitter), shows him whipping the officer four times in just five seconds. Even as one staff member tried to step in, Verma continued his assault until more people rushed to restrain him.

As per the reports, the headmaster is also accused of breaking the BSA’s mobile phone. When the officer tried to call the police, Verma allegedly snatched the device and smashed it. Why Did The Clash Happen

According to the reports, Verma had issued a notice to an assistant teacher in his school for negligence. This notice was reportedly shared in political groups, which led to complaints against Verma himself. When he was called to the BSA office to explain, Singh warned him against repeating such actions. This warning is said to have triggered the violent reaction.

Case Registered Against Headmaster

Following the incident, BSA Singh lodged a complaint at Kotwali Nagar police station. Sitapur police confirmed that Verma was arrested on the spot. Officials said an FIR has been registered under relevant sections, and further action is underway.

“Based on the written complaint received at Kotwali Nagar Police Station, an FIR has been registered under relevant sections. The accused is in police custody. Other necessary actions are being taken,” the official account of Sitapur police wrote on X.

Education Department’s Action

According to a report in Free Press Journal, the education department has suspended Verma with immediate effect. The BSA further approached higher authorities with a recommendation to terminate Verma’s services, citing the incident as a serious breach of discipline.
