Shah Rukh Khan and his daughter Suhana Khan are all set to share the screen space with the action-film, ‘King’.The superstar is collaborating with his ‘Pathaan’ director Siddharth Anand for his upcoming outing that is touted to be an epic action-adventure. As per the latest report, a new actor has joined the star-studded cast of the movie.

Karanvir Malhotra joins the cast of Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘King’

After Deepika Padukone, Karanvir Malhotra has reportedly come onboard for ‘King’. As per the Pinkvilla report, Karanvir has already started shooting for the movie. A source told the publication that the shooting is currently going on in Poland, and the actor has expressed his excitement to feature in an action flick starring SRK.The report added, “He will be with the team through the film shoot, and his character has an exciting arc in the film. More details are kept under wraps.”

Film is being shot at real locations

As per the report, Siddharth and Shah Rukh picked real locations to make the film look realistic and to introduce a new palette of freshness to the big screen experience.Reportedly, Siddharth locked unknown locations across Europe for action set pieces, and Poland is one of them. The source told the website, “The stunts of King are being shot in consultation with action teams of international repute.”

If reports are to be believed, Shah Rukh will be seen playing an influential figure in the world of crime in the movie. Recently, pictures from the sets of the film also leaked online. Khan was seen sporting a hat with a gray beard and a cool tattooed look.Meanwhile, apart from SRK and Suhana Khan, the film also features Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Abhay Verma, Rani Mukerji, Jaideep Ahlawat, Arshad Warsi, Saurabh Shukla, and more. As per the reports, the film has been slated for a 2026 release.
