The US and UK have signed the largest investment package in British history, the “Tech Prosperity Deal,” as President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Keir Starmer announce £250 billion in transatlantic investments. Major American firms, including Microsoft, Nvidia, OpenAI, Google, and Salesforce, are pouring billions into UK industries, launching a wave of new AI infrastructure. Trump and Starmer met tech CEOs at the UK prime minister’s country retreat in Chequers.
