In a bizarre case from Barabanki district in Uttar Pradesh, a young girl from Jawaharpur village has astonished doctors and villagers alike by surviving 41 snake bites. Despite being repeatedly targeted by the snake, her life has been saved each time after receiving medical treatment.

The family alleges that the snake repeatedly targets the young woman, leaving other members unharmed.

Rahmatul Bano, the daughter of Munavvar Ali, was bitten once again at around 5 pm on Thursday. Her family rushed her to the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Barabanki’s Dewa, where she was admitted at 6:35 pm. Currently, she remains under observation in an unconscious state.

According to her brother Azad, “My sister has been bitten by a snake 40 times on different occasions before this. We even took her to Lucknow’s Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital and Trauma Centre for treatment, but she survived every time. It may sound like a book or story, but this is our reality.”

Doctors at the Dewa CHC acknowledge that such a situation is rare from a medical perspective. While Rahmatul’s health is currently stable, her family views the incidents as supernatural. The repeated snake bites have also become a topic of widespread discussion in the village, with many questioning why the snake seems to target only this girl.
