Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said Pakistan’s duplicity on terrorism has been laid bare after a Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) commander admitted that India’s precision strike under ‘Operation Sindoor’ had hit the family of terror chief Masood Azhar in Bahawalpur.

“Today, the whole world has seen how terrorists from Pakistan themselves have accepted the truth,” Prime Minister Modi said.

“They admitted that India’s strike destroyed their bases. This is the new Bharat, it does not fear any nuclear threat,” he said.

“‘Ghar mein ghus kar maarta hai (we strike inside their home),” PM Modi declared.

He said the admission confirmed what India had been saying for years, that Bahawalpur remains the hub of Jaish operations, despite Pakistan’s denials before the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and international watchdogs.
