'Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle' box office collection day 5: Anime film sees slight growth on Tuesday, inches toward Rs 50 crore in first week

The Japanese anime film ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle’ continues to engage audiences in India. Though on Monday witnessed the much-expected dip in the numbers following the opening weekend surge, on Tuesday, the collection showed improvement. After a 5-day run at the Indian box office, the anime film is eyeing for Rs 50 crore mark.

‘Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle’ box office update day 5

According to Sacnilk, after opening with Rs. 12.85 crore on Friday, ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle’ made over Rs. 13 crore each on Saturday and Sunday. After an impressive weekend number, the movie saw an expected dip on Monday. With more than a 70 percent drop, the movie minted Rs 3.9 crore on Monday. Thereafter, on Tuesday, day 5, with a slight growth, the film added Rs. 4 crore to the tally, taking the India net collection of ‘Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle’ to Rs 47.70 crore.

Competition ahead

So far, amid Bollywood and Hollywood releases, ‘Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle’ has found its niche audience. As the trade numbers show, it has maintained a momentum.
