Bobby admits having fatherly emotions for Aryan, calls him fearless

Bobby Deol admits having fatherly emotions for Aryan Khan, calls him 'fearless': 'Being Shah Rukh Khan's son is not an easy task'

Bobby Deol expressed fatherly emotions while working with Aryan Khan on ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood.’ He admired Aryan’s fearless approach, unique directing style, and ability to extract the best from the cast. Bobby highlighted Aryan’s attention to detail and dedication. The web series, featuring a star-studded cast and cameos by the Khans, will premiere on Netflix on September 18.

Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan, is all set to make his big directorial debut with the web series The Ba***ds of Bollywood. In a recent interview, Bobby Deol spoke about working with Aryan, saying it’s challenging to step out of the shadow of a father who is the biggest Indian superstar in the world.

Feeling like a father while being directed

In conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Bobby revealed that he felt fatherly emotions while being directed by Aryan. He shared, “I felt a lot of fatherly emotions, because I also have kids, and both of them want to enter this industry. It’s not easy, coming from a family that already has a legacy and stepping out of the shadow of the biggest Indian superstar in the world.”

Aryan Khan’s fearless approach

Elaborating further, he added, “For me, it was my dad and brother. Being Shah Rukh Khan’s son, it’s not an easy task. But, I think this child has no fear for that. He is fearless. He has this fire that makes him so unique and one of his kind. When he was directing me, I always felt so nice and happy like my own son is directing me. I could just feel it.”

Unique style of direction

Shedding some light on Aryan’s style of direction, Bobby added, “The way he used to direct each and every one of us. He would enact those characters while explaining. He would get into the depth of it and make us do a lot of takes, because he knew that we have something which he was looking for. He would get that and then only he would say it’s okay. I think that’s an amazing quality,” he concluded.

When and where to watch

Meanwhile, The Ba***ds of Bollywood will stream exclusively on Netflix from September 18. The ensemble cast of Aryan Khan’s directorial series also features Lakshya, Sahher Bambba, Raghva Juyal, Manoj Pahwa, Mona Singh, Manish Chaudhari, Vijayant Kohli, Gautami Kapoor, and Rajat Bedi. It also boasts of special cameo appearances by the three Khans – Aamir, Shah Rukh, and Salman, among others. Go to Source
