Pooja Dadlani’s mother-in-law passes away; Shah Rukh Khan’s manager returns from King shoot, looks miffed with paparazzi intrusion

Pooja Dadlani, long-time manager and close aide of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, is mourning the loss of her mother-in-law, Jyoti Gurnani, who reportedly passed away on Sunday (September 14).

Videos from residence and airport

Several videos posted by paparazzi accounts showed an ambulance carrying the mortal remains of her mother-in-law to the residence, where relatives were seen arriving to offer condolences. In the footage, Pooja appeared visibly upset at photographers filming her during the personal moment of mourning.Just a night earlier, she had been spotted at Mumbai airport, reportedly rushing back from abroad due to the family emergency. Pooja had accompanied Shah Rukh Khan for the shoot of his upcoming film King but had to cut short her trip.As per reports, Shah Rukh Khan continues to shoot for King and is expected to return to Mumbai on September 17. His arrival will come a day after his son Aryan Khan’s OTT debut, The Ba***ds Of Bollywood, premieres online.

A key figure in SRK’s empire

Pooja Dadlani has been an integral part of Shah Rukh Khan’s life since 2012, managing not just his professional commitments but also playing a pivotal role in the operations of Red Chillies Entertainment and IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders. She is often seen with the superstar at IPL matches, business meetings, and social gatherings.Reports suggest she earns between Rs 7-9 crore annually. In 2021, her net worth was estimated at Rs 45-50 crore. Pooja, who owns luxury cars and a swanky residence in Mumbai’s Bandra, had shared glimpses of her home last year, crediting Gauri Khan for designing the space. The property was reportedly valued between Rs 5.63 crore and Rs 7.88 crore.

Married since 2008 to Hitesh Gurnani, director of Lista Jewels, Pooja balances her high-profile professional life with her personal commitments.
