Teja Sajja’s latest outing ‘Mirai’ has kept up its pace at the box office, signaling another potential blockbuster for the young star after the success of ‘Hanuman’.Released on September 12, the superhero action drama opened to an impressive Rs 13 crore India net on Day 1 and followed it up with an even better Day 2.Early estimates from the Sacnilk website suggest that the film earned around Rs 13.50 crore on Saturday, pushing its total to Rs 26.50 crore in just two days. Same as ‘Hanuman’, this Teja Sajja starrer is also getting good reviews for it’s stunning visuals and story telling style which resembles games where the hero completes each levels and move forward and it is surely interesting.

Telugu markets for ‘Mirai’ dominate

The film’s biggest strength continues to be the Telugu states, where occupancy levels have been consistently high. On Saturday, Mirai registered an overall 71.57% occupancy in Telugu theaters, with afternoon shows peaking at 80.93%. Morning shows opened at 62.97%, and night shows held steady at nearly 70%. In contrast, the Hindi belt is seeing slower growth, with Saturday occupancy at 20.90% in the afternoon and 27.83% by evening.

Teja Sajja leads a stunning cast ensemble

Directed by Karthik Gattamneni, Mirai features Teja Sajja in the lead alongside Ritika Nayak, Manoj Manchu, Jagapathi Babu, Shriya Saran. What impresses the Malayali audiences is the inclusion of their favourite actor Jayaram in the movie. The movie received a solid 3.5 star rating from ETimes and our review praised the Teja Sajja’s film’s grand visuals which include a Sampati bird sequence and train fight scene. According to our official review, the screenplay falters at times, but the climax is emotionally grounded.DISCLAIMER: The box office numbers in this article are compiled from our proprietary sources and diverse public data.
