Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Odyssey’ is closing in on joining the billion-dollar club soon enough. With reports sharing that the movie has already collected more than USD 930 million at its box office, the movie may just reach the milestone soon. Beyond that, ‘The Odyssey’ has also joined the ranks of the highest-earning R-rated films across the globe. If the Matt Damon-led movie reaches USD 1 billion at its box office, it will be the third overall R-rated film to do so.

Sacnilk recently shared a report revealing that Tom Holland’s ‘The Odyssey’ has already crossed the USD 900 million mark and is still going strong in theaters. While the numbers have lessened in comparison to the movie’s opening numbers, it has still managed to reach more than USD 930 million. The film is also slated to soon become the third R-rated film to earn USD 1 billion.Currently, ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is the highest-earning R-rated film on the list, with box office earnings worth USD 1.338 billion, closely followed by ‘Joker,’ which has earned USD 1.079 billion. ‘The Odyssey’ is also Nolan’s second film to reach the list after ‘Oppenheimer,’ which also starred Damon in an important role.
