Director Krishnakumar Ramakumar keeps the story moving in a docu-drama style, while Govind Vasantha’s score quietly elevates the emotional highs. A honest effort at telling a lesser known story.”R. Madhavan film’s unique approach also earns appreciation Another early viewer highlighted the film’s storytelling style and the extensive preparation undertaken by Madhavan before stepping into the role. The review read, “‣ #GDN is not a conventional biopic.Instead of narrating G.D.Naidu’s entire life, the film focuses on the most defining chapter that transformed him into India’s greatest inventor.‣Madhavan spent months researching G.D.Naidu by studying rare archival footage, photographs and historical material. He even created a 2-hour 40-minute audiobook to understand Naidu’s life and personality.‣ G.D.Naidu, often called the “Edison of India,” left school after the third standard but went on to become one of India’s most celebrated inventors and industrial pioneers.‣This is the first major feature film ever made on the life of G.D.Naidu, introducing his inspiring journey to a pan-Indian audience.‣ Apart from starring in the film, Madhavan also co-wrote the screenplay, ensuring the story remains both authentic and engaging..”

The film is not just a story about a courageous inventer who took on the system and outsmarted it but also about an individual who never compromised his integrity!
