Political tensions have escalated in Tamil Nadu after Leader of Opposition Udhayanidhi Stalin was detained following controversy over his remarks involving actress Trisha, who is known to be close to Chief Minister Vijay. At present, Tamil Nadu Police is reportedly proceeding with further legal action while Udhayanidhi Stalin remains in custody. Supporters from both DMK and TVK have gathered, increasing concerns over a possible escalation of tensions.
