The July performance comes as Tata Motors continues to strengthen its passenger vehicle portfolio, with electric vehicles contributing nearly 24 per cent of its total passenger vehicle sales during the month.Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles on Saturdayreported domestic sales of 62,611 units in July 2026, up 58 per cent from 39,521 units a year ago, while international business (IB) volumes rose 76 per cent to 1,149 units from 654 units.
Tata Motors posted a 59 per cent year-on-year increase in total sales for July 2026, driven by strong growth in both its conventional and electric vehicle portfolio.
The company sold 63,760 units across domestic and international markets during the month, compared with 40,175 units in July 2025.
Electric vehicle sales, including domestic and international markets, more than doubled during the month. Tata Motors sold 15,217 EVs, marking a 114 per cent year-on-year increase over 7,124 units in July 2025.
The reported EV volumes include sales of Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., the company’s electric vehicle subsidiary.
