Raja blocked Palak on social media, reacts to Ibrahim dating rumours

Raja Chaudhary says he isn’t bothered about Palak Tiwari-Ibrahim Ali Khan dating rumours: ‘She doesn’t consider me a father’; reveals he blocked daughter on social media

Raja Chaudhary has once again opened up about his estranged relationship with daughter Palak Tiwari, revealing that he has blocked her on social media and no longer follows her life. The actor also reacted to the ongoing rumours linking Palak with Ibrahim Ali Khan, saying he has no reason to interfere because she does not consider him her father. In a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Raja said he has accepted the distance between him and Palak, even though it continues to hurt him. When asked about Palak’s rumoured relationship with Ibrahim Ali Khan, Raja said relationships are a normal part of growing up and that he does not see it as his place to comment.”I would be bothered if she was a part of my life but she doesn’t consider me a father. You should ask her mother if she is bothered. Why should I be bothered? I am just a biological father, that’s it. That’s what I was told. I was told that I have nothing to do with her. What can you do about it?” he said.Despite saying he is no longer involved in her personal life, Raja maintained that he would always be there if she ever reached out.”I will be there for her if she calls me in the middle of the night also, but I am not needed in her life,” he added.

‘I have blocked everything related to her’

Raja also revealed that he has blocked everything related to Palak on social media because keeping up with her life from afar became emotionally overwhelming. “I don’t want to see their photos, videos because I have done my level of begging. I have justified myself enough, saying how much I miss her. I don’t want to, anymore,” he said.According to Raja, he looked after Palak every day until she turned eight. However, after his separation from Shweta Tiwari, their relationship gradually faded.”I have spoken to her only two or three times in the last 18 years,” he claimed.

‘I was the unpaid house help’

During the interview, Raja also revisited his marriage with ex-wife Shweta Tiwari, claiming that while she earned for the family, he handled everything else.”She was earning and I was managing everything. And she was earning a lot. I was just a manager and who cares about a manager?” he said.He alleged that misunderstandings and constant arguments eventually broke the marriage.”I was the unpaid househelp, and an unpaid driver. We were just fighting, not understanding each other. I was trying to prove my point of view and she was just trying to prove hers, but no one’s point was proved. It was just a broken family,” he said.

Separation led to mental breakdown

Raja admitted that the separation took a severe emotional toll on him and eventually led to alcoholism and a stay in rehabilitation.”It wasn’t just alcoholism. It was a mental breakdown; these were all my emotions. I had no control over anything. I couldn’t even see my daughter. I couldn’t fathom the fact that my daughter was no longer with me. I had a very strong connection with her,” he said.Shweta Tiwari and Raja Chaudhary married in 1999 and later separated after Shweta accused him of domestic violence, harassment and alcoholism. Their divorce was finalised in 2012. Go to Source
