‘The Walking Dead’ star Emily Kinney, whose character Beth Greene was shot in the head in the fifth season, will return to the universe. The 41-year-old actress announced that she will make a cameo in the third season of the spin-off show, ‘The Walking Dead: Dead City.’ Kinney revealed the appearance at San Diego Comic-Con on Friday, July 24, 2026, alongside Lauren Cohan, who plays her on-screen sister. Two days before the third season of ‘The Walking Dead: Dead City’ releases in the USA, Emily Kinney and Lauren Cohan shared the news. “I’m Lauren, and I think you know this person,” the 44-year-old actress said in the clip released by AMC, showcasing the appearance of the singer-actress.“Hi, I’m Emily Kinney. Really so excited to be working with Lauren again,” Kinney stated, before adding that she was pleasantly surprised after being asked for an appearance. “I had no idea I’d get a chance to play Beth again. I’m so happy to be here,” Emily said, to which Lauren warned, “Get those tissues ready, everybody.”
