Delhi Police has intensified its investigation into the violence reported during the July 20 Parliament march. According to the report, protesters allegedly broke barricades, threw stones and slippers, attacked police personnel, and damaged government property and vehicles. Police have registered 15 FIRs across areas including Parliament Street, Kartavya Path, Connaught Place and Barakhamba. Around 2,000 people suspected of involvement in the unrest have reportedly been identified, with facial recognition systems and other digital evidence being used in the investigation. Police are also examining social media activity, with 480 social media accounts allegedly linked to propaganda surrounding the protest reportedly blocked. A senior Delhi Police official is expected to address the media and provide further details about the investigation and planned action. Authorities are also looking into allegations of misinformation and attempts to provoke unrest through online platforms. The police action is expected to focus on identifying and prosecuting those allegedly responsible for violence and disruption during the protest.
