The festive season calls for long evenings of music, dancing, and celebration, and that means makeup, late nights, and tired skin. But for actress Fatima Sana Shaikh, keeping her glow intact isn’t about complicated steps or endless products. Instead, she relies on a simple, consistent routine that prioritises hydration and mindfulness.

Hydration Above All

For Fatima Sana Shaikh, skin health begins and ends with moisture. “Nothing works like a good cleanser and a great moisturiser,” she shares with a smile. Her ritual is straightforward: a gentle cleanser followed by lightweight hydration to refresh her skin morning and night.

Her secret weapon is hyaluronic acid. “It gives me that bounce without feeling heavy,” she says, pointing to its ability to lock in moisture and plump the skin. It’s this lightweight but powerful layer that forms the base of her glowing complexion.

Nighttime Glow Filter

Evenings are reserved for a touch of indulgence. Fatima recommends massaging in night cream using upward strokes, sometimes with a jade roller. “Take a pea-sized amount of your night cream and gently massage it into your skin using upward strokes, a jade roller, and absolute digital detox,” she explains. The result? Better circulation, deeper hydration, and what she fondly calls “my overnight glow filter.”

Quick Fixes for Tired Skin

Of course, not every day feels perfect, especially during the festive rush. On those mornings when fatigue shows, Fatima swears by a cooling tool. “It wakes me up and de-puffs instantly. Perfect before a puja or a party!” she says of her ice roller trick.

While many swear by elaborate multi-step routines, Fatima believes in doing less but doing it well. “Keep it simple, stay consistent,” she insists. Her fuss-free approach proves that glowing skin doesn’t always require a cabinet full of products, just mindful care and a little discipline.

As Garba nights light up the season, Fatima’s routine is a reminder that balance, hydration, and a touch of self-care can keep your skin radiant no matter how busy the festivities get.
