The makers of the Vijay starrer ‘Jana Nayagan’ have officially announced the theatrical release date of the film. After a long period of uncertainty regarding its release, it is finally set to hit the big screens in just a couple of days.

The production house took to his its social media handle to reveal a brand new poster of the film and announced that the CM Vijay starrer will be released on July 23. Sharing the poster, they wrote, “Tested by fire. Forged by time. Built for history. The tougher the battle, The louder the victory.” The newly released poster features Vijay in a police uniform. He is seen standing with confidence while holding a sword.For the unversed, the film was first planned for a January release. However, it was delayed because of censorship issues with the CBFC. Later in April, the movie also faced another setback after it was leaked online in HD quality. Despite these problems, the makers have now completed all the formalities and fixed the official release date.
About ‘Jana Nayagan’
Directed by H. Vinoth, ‘Jana Nayagan’ tells the story of Vetri Kondan, a former police officer and convict. He adopts a young girl named Viji and raises her to become brave and independent. He also encourages her to join the military even though she is afraid. Vijay is shown as a people’s leader who takes a stand for them. Later, he is seen locking horns with the main antagonist of the story, which is Bobby Deol’s character, who is a corrupt figure seeking for power and control.
