In the ongoing inheritance dispute involving Sunjay Kapur, Priya Sachdev Kapur’s lawyer, Rajiv Nayar, took aim at Karisma Kapoor, telling the court that she had been “nowhere to be seen for the last 15 years” after separating from Kapur. Appearing on behalf of Priya Sachdev Kapur, Nayar urged sympathy for Kapur, who, he noted, “died while playing polo.”

The court directed that written statements be filed within two weeks, followed by a rejoinder within a week thereafter. Summons were issued in the suit along with a notice on the plea for interim relief. The court also instructed Priya Sachdev Kapur to submit a complete list of all her movable and immovable assets.
