Sunita reveals why she will never leave Govinda

'Koi hero doodh ka dhula nahi hoga': Sunita Ahuja reveals why she will never leave Govinda despite infidelity rumors after 'Lock Upp 2' exit

Sunita Ahuja exited ‘Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa’ as Govinda and daughter Tina escorted her out. She opened up on infidelity, trust, and forgiveness, saying no actor is “squeaky clean” but love means forgiving and moving on. She fell for Govinda at 15; they wed in 1987, welcoming Tina in 1989 and Yash in 1997.

Sunita Ahuja, star wife of actor Govinda, has exited the reality show ‘Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa’. On the Judgment Day episode that aired Saturday, July 11, Govinda and daughter Tina Ahuja showed up to walk her out of the show. During her time on the show, Sunita repeatedly touched upon infidelity in marriage, alleging that Govinda had been involved in multiple affairs over the years. Even so, she insisted she would never walk away from him, stating that her faith and love in their marriage remained unshaken despite the hurdles.

Sunita Ahuja on trust in marriage

In a conversation with The Free Press Journal following her exit from ‘Lock Upp 2’, Sunita spoke candidly about infidelity within marriage, sharing her thoughts on trust, forgiveness, and what it means to be married to an actor. She said, “Bharosa bahut badi cheez hai. Merko nahi lagta ki film industry ka koi bhi hero doodh ka dhula hoga. Humse zyada toh woh log heroines ke saath time bitate hain. Toh yeh aapke pyaar par depend karta hai ki aap kaise lete ho.”(Trust is a huge thing. I don’t think any hero in the film industry is squeaky clean. They spend more time with heroines than we do. So, it depends on your love—how you choose to perceive it.)

Sunita Ahuja on forgiveness and love

Further, she added, “Maine hamesha kaha hai ki to become an actor’s wife aapko apna dil pathar ka rakhna padta hai. Main jab 15 saal ki thi, tab Govinda se pyaar kiya tha. Aaj 56 saal ki ho gayi hoon aur aaj bhi unse utna hi pyaar karti hoon. Maine usse itni maafiyan di hain. Maine bhi kabhi kuch badtameezi ki hogi. Woh hamesha kehte hain, ‘Yeh meri biwi nahi hai, bacchi hai.’ Pyaar agar dil se hota hai, toh insaan maaf karke nikal jata hai.”(I have always said that to be an actor’s wife, you have to have a heart of stone. I fell in love with Govinda when I was 15. Today, I am 56, and I still love him just as much. I have forgiven him so many times. I, too, must have been rude at times. He always says, “She isn’t my wife; she’s a child.” When love comes from the heart, one simply forgives and moves on.)

Sunita Ahuja and Govinda’s marriage

Govinda and Sunita got married in 1987, though they kept it under wraps until their daughter Tina was born in 1989. The couple later welcomed their second child, Yashvardhan Ahuja, in 1997. Go to Source
