Rajesh Sharma rushed to Kolkata hospital
The veteran actor had been filming for ‘Fauji’ when he suddenly started facing health issues on set. The Telegraph reported that while on set, after the filming for the day had been finalized, the actor was standing in a forest dense area along with a couple of film technicians when it all happened.It was also reported that the issue is suspected to be caused because of an insect bite, as he had suddenly felt something on his leg. The injury did not seem serious at the time, which is why the actor chose not to get some treatment or help right away.However, after a couple of hours, he started feeling worse, and had a sharp pain in his right leg. He later boarded a flight to Kolkata, where he developed a high fever and got even more uncomfortable. The report also shared that after landing at the Kolkata airport he was rushed to a nearby private hospital to get admitted and treated for his symptoms. As of right now, according to the report, the actor was being created for a severe infection in his right leg, which spread to his toes and knees. All of this has also resulted in Sharma developing a breathing problems along with a very high fever.

AICWA demands probe into the matter
The All Indian Cine Workers Association, also known as the AICWA has officially demanded that the matter is further investigated. In a statement, reported by IANS, the group stated that authorities need to look more deeply and closely into Rajesh Sharma’s matter and how his health worsened so quickly while on the sets of ‘Fauji.’Their statement read, “The film industry has a legal and moral responsibility to provide a safe, hygienic and medically prepared working environment for every artist, technician and worker. Unfortunately, AICWA has repeatedly raised concerns regarding poor hygiene, inadequate sanitation, unsafe working conditions and the lack of proper emergency medical facilities at several shooting locations across the country.”They further talked about the need to be transparent about issues on film sets and how not everything reaches the public. Furthermore, it was also mentioned that many people do not come forward about similar situations even when they need to for fear that they may lose their jobs.As of right now, fans and netizens alike have been waiting for another update about the actor’s health and how he is feeling now.
