Prince William made a surprise appearance on Travis and Jason Kelce’s podcast recently. The Prince of Wales, 44, appeared in a teaser the brothers shared on their social media for an episode of their New Heights podcast that dropped that morning.According to the teaser released on Instagram, Jason, 38, delivered an elaborate introduction for the royal guest. “Our guest today is the 6 foot 3′ Prince from London, England. That’s right. The president of the English Football Association, the Vice Royal Patron of the Welsh Rugby Union, the Duke of Cambridge, the Duke of Cornwall, the Lord of the Isles, Prince and Great Steward of Scotland, Earl of Chester, and the Prince of Wales. 92 percenters, please welcome his Royal Highness, Prince William!” Jason bellowed in his signature introduction style.Travis, 36, cheered throughout the lengthy introduction and clapped in support of their distinguished guest. “Let’s go!” he yelled enthusiastically as Prince William appeared on screen between the two brothers.
Prince William’s reaction to the introduction
Prince William responded to the elaborate welcome with good humour and humility. “That is quite the intro, guys. Amazing,” he said while holding back laughter at the over-the-top presentation. Jason acknowledged the effort they had put into the introduction. “We had to do it big for you, had to do it big,” he replied, suggesting the brothers wanted to ensure the royal guest received an appropriately grand welcome.
Prince William’s confirmed absence from the wedding
Despite the timing of his appearance on the couple’s associated podcast, Prince William did not attend the wedding celebrations. However, the publication confirmed that the royal couple decided not to attend the event.
