Diljit Dosanjh, known for his successful career across Punjabi cinema, Bollywood while he’s a global name through his music, has revealed a health secret he has kept hidden for over a decade. In a recent interview, the actor shared that he has been living with a gallbladder stone measuring 11-12 mm since 2015 but has never undergone surgery to remove it. He also disclosed that he had not informed even his family or close friends about the condition.The ‘Chamkila’ actor said doctors discovered the gallstone during a medical check-up in 2015 and advised him to undergo surgery. However, a friend’s advice made him reconsider the procedure.According to Diljit, his friend told him, “If the stone isn’t causing you any trouble, why are you getting it operated on?” Since then, he has chosen not to undergo surgery, saying the stone has never caused him any discomfort. The actor also shared that he believes the stone may have disappeared on its own. Even so, as a precaution, he always carries a box of medicines with him wherever he goes.Diljit further revealed that he had never spoken publicly about the condition before and had kept it a secret from everyone, including his family and friends. The revelation has left many fans concerned, with several taking to social media to wish him good health and describing him as a positive soul. On the work front, Diljit was recently seen in ‘Main Wapas Aaunga’, directed by Imtiaz Ali. The film performed well at the box office, continuing the successful collaboration between the actor and filmmaker. The duo had previously worked together on ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’, which was widely appreciated.Apart from Hindi films, Diljit continues to be a major star in Punjabi cinema. Alongside acting, he remains active as a singer, performing at sold-out concerts around the world. His popularity extends well beyond India, making him one of the most recognised Indian artists on the global stage.
