Shanthanu thanks CM Vijay for honoring his late father K. Bhagyaraj

'My gratitude will last a lifetime,' expresses Shanthanu as he thanks CM Vijay for honoring his late father K. Bhagyaraj

Kindnesses are always recalled when times are tough. This was precisely what actor Shanthanu Bhagyaraj thought about when he expressed gratitude to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay for supporting his family after the passing of his famous filmmaker father, K. Bhagyaraj. The sentimental message posted on social media touched the hearts of many fans, as Shanthanu remembered how Vijay supported him during his father’s funeral and how they had many memorable moments together in the past.

Shanthanu expresses gratitude to CM Vijay

Sharing a heartfelt note, Shanthanu thanked Vijay for the compassion he showed towards his family. He wrote, “Honourable Chief Minister, how can I express my gratitude in just 26 or even 247 characters? My gratitude towards you will truly last for the rest of my life.” He also looked back at his wedding and added, “You placed the sacred mangalsutra in my hands and blessed the beginning of my married life. I still haven’t thanked you enough for that.” This is because his post described how Vijay has always been there in his happiest and worst moments of life.

Shanthanu recalls Vijay’s touching gesture

Shanthanu was so touched by the gesture shown by Vijay when his father died. He mentioned in his post, “When you consoled us after my father’s death, you did not keep your high status and kneel down in front of my mother to console her.” That moment deeply touched me.” He also expressed his gratitude for the state honours accorded to Bhagyaraj, saying, “State honours are the greatest tribute an artist can receive, even in death. I will remain grateful all my life for the dignity and respect you gave my father.” The words reflected the family’s appreciation for the honour shown to the veteran filmmaker.

A tribute that touched the hearts of many

Shanthanu concluded his message by writing, “What more can I say at this moment? Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Anna.” The emotional appeal he made received much appreciation on social media sites, especially among his fans, due to the true relationship between the two families of Vijay and Bhagyaraj. Vijay’s visit to pay his last respects, his moral support to the bereaved family members, and his willingness to offer full state honors to Bhagyaraj are all recorded in his memory as true gestures.
