The Evolution+ variant gets automatic climate control, wireless smartphone connectivity, keyless entry and driver-seat height adjustment.Renault India on Wednesday expanded the variant lineup of its Kiger compact SUV with the launch of four new variants across naturally aspirated and turbo-petrol powertrains, as the automaker looks to strengthen its presence in the competitive entry B-SUV segment.
The update introduces the new Evolution+ trim in naturally aspirated and turbo-manual configurations, while the turbo-powered Techno variant now gets a manual transmission option. With these additions, the Kiger’s turbo portfolio expands to five variants from three, while the naturally aspirated range grows to eight variants from six.
Renault has priced the Kiger Turbo Manual Evolution+ at ₹7.89 lakh (ex-showroom), which it claims makes the model the most affordable turbo-powered offering in the segment. The Evolution+ naturally aspirated manual variant is priced at ₹6.99 lakh.
Feature upgrades and product positioning
The Evolution+ trim features automatic climate control, wireless smartphone replication, a smart access card with push-button start/stop, driver-seat height adjustment and upgraded fabric upholstery.
“The New Kiger range is aimed at bringing turbo performance, premium features and greater choice within easier reach,” said Francisco Hidalgo, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Renault India.
“As customer expectations continue to evolve, accessibility today goes beyond price—it is about enabling a more complete and rewarding ownership experience,” he added.
The company said introducing a manual gearbox in the Techno turbo variant expands transmission options and provides a lower-priced entry point into the Kiger’s turbocharged lineup.
Following the revision, Kiger turbo variants are priced between ₹7.89 lakh and ₹10.35 lakh (ex-showroom), while the naturally aspirated range is priced from ₹5.81 lakh to ₹8.45 lakh.
