The investigation into the alleged donation theft at the Ram Temple has intensified, with suspicion reportedly deepening around Tillu Yadav, who is associated with Champat Rai as his driver. According to sources, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) has repeatedly questioned Tillu Yadav over donations involving precious ornaments and valuables. The SIT has also reportedly spoken to a Mumbai-based businessman who claimed to have donated a silver necklace and sacred footwear (paduka) but alleged that he did not receive an official receipt for the offerings. Investigators are examining these claims as part of the ongoing probe. Questions are also being raised about Tillu Yadav’s influence within the temple premises and his reported assets, with calls for scrutiny into the source of his wealth. The SIT is said to be examining multiple aspects of the case, including donation records and related transactions. Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that the SIT would conduct an impartial investigation and ensure that “the guilty, regardless of their influence, will not be spared.” He also appealed to people to refrain from making statements that could affect the ongoing inquiry until the investigation is complete.
