A bouncer at a popular restaurant in Yerawada was allegedly assaulted late Sunday night after a man was denied entry, said officials.
The incident took place outside Elephant & Co. Restaurant and Bar around 10:30 pm and quickly escalated into a street brawl.

According to police, the dispute began as a verbal argument with the staff when entry was refused.
The confrontation soon turned physical, with videos recorded by bystanders showing the scuffle spreading outside the premises.
The clips later went viral on social media.
Bouncer Mayur Madhukar Phadtare (27), a resident of Pune, lodged a complaint at Yerawada Police Station following the incident.
Based on his statement, police booked two men — Akhil Ashok Kumar (27) of Vadgaonsheri and his associate Kyle Edward Cummins (24) of Pirangut, Mulshi taluka.
The duo has been charged under sections 115 (voluntarily causing hurt) and 3(5) (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
Police officials said they arrived at the spot promptly and brought the situation under control. No major injuries were reported.
Further investigation is underway.
