'Peddi' box office collections day 14: Ram Charan's film sees 29% drop; Crosses Rs 320.20 Cr worldwide

Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor’s sports drama ‘Peddi’ continued its theatrical run on a steady note despite another drop in collections. According to Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 2.45 crore net in India on Day 14. The latest figure represents a 29.0 per cent decline from Day 13, when the film earned Rs 3.45 crore net. The film has now completed two weeks in theatres.

India collections reach Rs 226 crore net

‘Peddi’ has taken its total India net collection to Rs 226.00 crore. The film’s India gross collection stands at Rs 267.75 crore after 14 days in theatres.The Telugu version remained the major contributor on Day 14. It earned Rs 2.03 crore net from 2,234 shows. The Hindi version added Rs 35 lakhs from 1,343 shows. Kannada contributed Rs 5 lakhs, while the Tamil version collected Rs 2 lakhs. The film had earlier earned Rs 193.55 crore during its first week.

Worldwide gross collection climbs to Rs 320.20 crore

Overseas markets added another Rs 25 lakhs gross on Day 14. This pushed the film’s international total to Rs 52.45 crore gross. ‘Peddi’ has now amassed a worldwide gross collection of Rs 320.20 crore.According to the state-wise gross collection report, APTG contributed Rs 2.10 crore on Day 14. Karnataka followed with Rs 25 lakhs gross, while Tamil Nadu added Rs 8 lakhs. The Rest of India markets contributed Rs 40 lakhs gross on the day.The Telugu version recorded an overall occupancy of 18.69 per cent on Day 14. Morning shows registered 13.08 per cent occupancy. Afternoon shows improved to 18.54 per cent. Evening occupancy stood at 18.23 per cent, while night shows recorded 18.15 per cent.The Hindi version posted an overall occupancy of 10.30 per cent. Occupancy increased as the day progressed, rising from 3.92 per cent in morning shows to 13.00 per cent during night screenings.Set in rural Andhra Pradesh during the 1980s, Peddi follows the story of “A spirited villager unites his community through sports to defend their pride against a powerful rival.” Led by Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, the sports drama continues its box office journey with a worldwide gross of Rs 320.20 crore after 14 days in theatres.DISCLAIMER: The box office numbers and the data in this article are compiled from public and industry sources.
